Jennifer Treff
Senior Community Association Manager
Jennifer joined the Hignell Companies in May 2012. She is a California State University, Chico graduate with a B.A. in Communications. Jennifer started her career in the Sacramento area working as a commercial property manager. She received her CCAM certification through CACM in 2013. She obtained her Portfolio Management and Age-Restricted Active Adult Community Management designations in 2019 and the Commercial & Industrial CID Management designation in 2020. She is responsible for the day to day management of the Community Association Management department at The Hignell Companies. In her spare time, she enjoys being with family.

Carrie Lee
Community Association Manager
Carrie has 18 years of experience working in the HOA industry. She joined The Hignell Companies in August 2018. Carrie has experience in a wide variety of community associations; with her current portfolio consisting of single family homes, condominiums, plan unit development and commercial associations. She first obtain certification through Community Association Managers International Certification Board as a Certified Manger of Community Associations (CMCA®). In 2014 she decided to instead concentrate on California specific certification becoming a member of the California Association of Community Managers earning the Certified Community Association Manager (CCAM®). In 2020 Carrie obtained an additional designation with CACM in Portfolio Management to add to her certification (CCAM-PM®). In her spare time, she enjoys spending time outdoors and with her family and friends.

Luanne Hiney
Community Association Manager
Luanne Hiney has been a dedicated member of the Hignell team since 2017, starting as an administrative assistant before advancing to assistant property manager and now serving as a property manager. With a passion for helping others and a strong connection to her community, Luanne takes pride in providing excellent service in property management. Throughout her time with Hignell she learned invaluable lessons working under the guidance of Gary Taylor. Gary taught her about managing communities not only professionally but relationally as well. She cherishes the time that was spent under his leadership.
A lifelong resident of Chico, she loves everything the area has to offer. Outside of work, she enjoys capturing moments through photography and embarking on road trips to explore new places. Luanne has been happily married to her husband Dan for 34 years, and together they have two wonderful daughters.

Christina Allmon
Community Association Manager
Christina joined The Hignell Companies in August 2020, bringing over 25 years of property management experience in the Chico area. She is a Certified Community Association Manager (received certification in 2021) and holds a B.A. in Communications and Business Administration from Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, Washington. Outside of work, Christina has been married to her husband, Dan, for over 32 years. They have two children: Sofia, an elementary school teacher in San Luis Obispo, and Sam, a local firefighter. In her spare time, Christina enjoys quilting, reading, watching sports, and spending quality time with family and friends.

Scott Hunter
Community Association Manager
Scott joined The Hignell Companies in 2022, bringing over a decade of experience in real estate, mortgage sales, and property management. He began his career in the San Jose area, specializing in residential sales and community management.
He obtained his California Real Estate Salesperson License in 2013 and earned his Certified Community Association Manager (CCAM) designation through CACM in 2023. Committed to professional growth, Scott continues to expand his expertise in Association Management, with a focus on delivering exceptional service to high-end communities.
Scott currently manages a diverse portfolio, including luxury gated communities, golf course developments, and upscale single-family home associations.
Outside of work, Scott enjoys fishing, home improvement projects, and spending quality time with his wife and daughter.

Nathan Bowers
Community Association Manager
Nathan was born and raised in Ohio. He moved to California in 2015 and has been with Hignell since August of 2017, working initially in the Redding Residential Rental/Commercial division for four in half years. He moved to Sacramento in February of 2022 and sadly left the company. After just over a month and a half of living in Sacramento, he was back with Hignell in the HOA division where he is now a member of the California Association of Community Managers and a Certified Community Association Manager (CCAM®) since 2022. In his spare time, he enjoys spontaneous adventures, traveling to new locations, and being with family.

Monica Gale
Community Association Manager
Monica has been a resident of Shasta County for over 35 years and considers this community her home. Originally from San Francisco, she embraces the quiet lifestyle, the friendly people, and the breathtaking landscape Shasta County offers. Professionally, Monica’s career has centered predominantly in the Real Estate field (management, lending and sales) and also legal (Legal Document Assistant, Legal Assistant, etc.). She attended Shasta College and then graduated law school in 2009. As a Portfolio Manager for The Hignell Companies, she pursued a Certification with California Association of Community Managers in 2018 and continues to increase her knowledge and expertise in the Association Management field. Her current portfolio consists of both residential and commercial properties within Shasta and Tehama Counties. Being of service to others is her current passion and Monica volunteers much of her time doing that.
